It is an honor to serve as Senior Councilman of the Town of Hempstead – America’s largest township with over 850,000 residents, a population larger than four states and the District of Columbia. Every day, I work hard to represent all of our seniors and working families to ensure that they receive the excellent government services they deserve as well as maintain our community’s charming quality of life.

My number one goal is to make your government responsive and results-driven. I invite you to contact me directly if I am able to assist you, your family, or neighbors in solving a problem concerning local government.

I do all this with taxpayers, and future taxpayers, in mind. I am proud to have led the Town Board through balanced budgets without a general fund tax increase, 14 out of the past 15 years. As your fiscal watchdog, I’ve held Town spending down to five times less than the inflation rate. In mid-2009, the Town earned a Triple A Bond Rating from Wall Street’s most trusted bond-rating agencies – independently recognizing the town’s rock-solid fiscal shape.

There is still much work to be done but working together, we will continue to strengthen the future of our great town. Thank you again for visiting my site. I will continue to work for the betterment of our community and our neighbors.
